The afternoon celebration started off with several short speeches. Tony Johnson, General Manager of The Meadows Country Club, was excited and optimistic about the progress that The Meadows is making, "I know that this day has been a long time coming, and although we're "unofficially"
Philip Boyle, President of the Board of Governors, echoed Tony's sentiments, "It's been a long time in the planning process, and a long time in the construction process. There might have been a lot of anxiety but there's also been a lot of exhilaration about what this means to the club."
As part of the overall revitalization of The Meadows Country Club, enhancements are being made not on only the golf course, but throughout the entirety of the Country Club. Projects include enhancements to the tennis facility, with the deck area is being expanded to offer more outdoor dining and socializing options. Plans are also in place for a new community lifestyle and wellness facility, and the full dining areas are also slated for updating in the near future. The beautiful banquet area, The Regency Room, was also renovated and is now ready to host member and outside events.
