PRLog -- The province of British Columbia held its latest tech pilot draw. In the latest tech pilot draw, the number of invitations issued have not been released, however, the scores of the lowest ranked candidate was 80 for the both the skilled immigration and express entry candidates.
The invitations were issued to the candidates who applied under the skilled worker and international graduate sub streams of skilled immigration and express entry categories. The British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) is an expedited process for in-demand tech workers and international students. Well, the tech-pilot program is the best category of the BC PNP program and is one of the main streams.
To be considered under the tech pilot program, a candidate is required to have a valid job offer (at least 12 months) in any one of the 29 occupations that have been released by the province of British Columbia.
BC PNP also issued 11 invitations to the candidates under its entrepreneur immigration stream. To receive an invitation under this stream, the minimum score of the lowest-ranked candidate is 121. The entrepreneur immigration stream is aimed towards attracting business people who are looking forward to obtaining a status of Canada's permanent residency. The entrepreneur stream has been made to amaze the eyeballs of the aspiring entrepreneurs who are looking forward to either starting a new business or flourish their existing one in the province of British Columbia.
Under this stream, the applicants are assessed on the basis of certain parameters such as work experience, personal net worth, and adaptability.
