BROOKLYN, N.Y. - Nov. 23, 2020 - PRLog -- Not many people see the good in the world we live in today. It is difficult sometimes, now more than ever, to continue to seek out the silver lining when everything has been so cloudy as of late. Professional handball player, Josef Gotsch, makes looking for the positive a priority in his life during these trying times.

Gotsch has been playing handball for over ten years now.  He is thankful that he has continued to play the sport he loves, even during this pandemic.  One of the many things Josef is most thankful for, is his family. They have always been a great support system for him and love to watch him compete on the court. He is also thankful that throughout the pandemic,  his entire family remains healthy and can continue to see each other on a regular basis. This professional athlete makes it a priority to acknowledge the things he is thankful for in each moment that passes. He always tries to notice the small things and realizes there is so much to be thankful for in his life. He shows his gratitude by doing the right thing and expressing the love behind each gesture.

This Thanksgiving Josef is thrilled to continue his traditions that his friends and family have created throughout the years. They will enjoy turkey like everyone else, but they put a German/Austrian twist on the traditional American holiday fare. Unfortunately, this year, Gotsch will not be able to have his usual large Thanksgiving gathering, but he will still be with his parents.

"It appears, it'll just be me, mom and pop having our fantastic turkey dinner with the works this year," said Gotsch. "Even though it will not be as big as it normally is, I will still have a great time, and I still have so much to be thankful for."

Like many others, Josef will be watching the football games on Thanksgiving day. He even has a few predictions on the outcome of these games. He believes the Detroit Lions will beat the Houston Texans, only if the main quarterback is in the game.  The Dallas Cowboys will beat the Washington Football Team and the Pittsburgh Steelers will beat the Baltimore Ravens.

All predictions aside, Josef Gotsch plans on having a great day with his amazing family. Even though Thanksgiving is a time to remember what we are most thankful for, he will continue to be thankful, each and every day.
