MIAMI - Nov. 20, 2020 - PRLog -- Indispensable Self-Help Book: 'A Guide to Aging and Dying'

"In this world nothing can be said to be certain, except death and taxes." – Ben Franklin

Taxes can be pretty scary, but so can death be frightening for the unprepared.

Autumn of Life: A Guide to Aging and Dying was written by a hospice nurse to offer a new way of understanding the process everyone—all of us—will go through.

The book answers some of the most basic questions. It can serve as a resource for doctors, nurses, clergy, social workers, caregivers, and anyone else who deals with hospice care or the death of a loved one.

The transition to death can be a time of panic or a time of peaceful understanding.

Joseph Marino, RN, BSN, has been a nurse for 24 years, working in hospice for 13 years. A gerontologist/hospice nurse, he also has a degree in anthropology and an MBA. His other books are A Walk Through Time: Finality of a Dream, plus two children's books featuring dinosaurs, A Hot Summer Day and Laugh Until You Cry. Originally from Cleveland, Ohio, the author is semi-retired and now resides in Arizona.
