SmartGridCIS, a Univerus Company Continues Texas Expansion...Adds Three New Retail Energy Providers in ERCOT

With these new clients, SmartGridCIS further extends its customer base in #Texas and now supports more clients than any other billing provider in this market. Two of these clients are start-up companies. They each bring a unique and different perspective, but they're both ready to disrupt the Texas #retailelectricity market. One is a subsidiary of a wholesale power marketer, with affiliate companies already serving as retail energy marketers. The other start-up is led by two retail energy industry veterans, each with considerable #prepay energy experience. They plan to leverage their experience to support multiple prepay energy brands in Texas.

The third client is an existing ERCOT market participant, with a significant number of customers, who will be converting to SmartGridCIS from their current platform. Their decision was based on the level of automation available in the #GridLink application, as well as state-of-the-art consumer-facing applications, which they believe offers the most efficient means of attracting new customers, and retaining existing customers.
