The US High Speed Rail Association is proud to host the ninth webinar in its successful Professional Webinar Series: A Tale of Two Stations: Los Angeles' Union Station & New York's Penn Station on Wednesday October 14, 2020, 10a PDT/1pm EDT.
This webinar will focus on the renovation and redevelopment of two of America's largest and most historically significant urban rail stations. Jeanet Owens, Senior Executive Officer – Program Management/Regional Rail LA Metro, will talk about her experience managing the Los Angeles' Union Station redevelopment project to include capacity for California High Speed Rail at the station.
Jeanet Owens is the Senior Executive Officer – Program Management/Regional Rail for LA Metro. She is a licensed civil engineer in the State of California with over 16 years professional experience in civil engineering and project/construction management. She worked on the Wilshire Grand Redevelopment Project and with Thomas Properties Group Development Services (construction, tenant improvements, engineering design, transportation, infrastructure and sustainable design for the City of Los Angeles) and the County of Los Angeles (project management). Jeanet is also an accredited professional in Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design for sustainable practice under the United States Green Building Council.
