Intellectual Assets selected for Department of Energy Connector

PORTLAND, Ore. - Sept. 22, 2020 - PRLog -- The US Department of Energy (DOE) through the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) runs several contests to increase investment in energy technologies.  Intellectual Assets has been selected as a connector to help evangelize and and facilitate applications for these contests.

The Solar Prize is in the 4th and last cohort.  The deadline for submission is October 8, 2020 and requires a 2500-word narrative and a 90 second video.  The competition has three tiers with 20 $50,000 awards expected in the first tier, 10 $100,000 awards in the second tier, and 2 grand prizes of $500,000.  In addition, second and third tier awardees receive $75,000 in vouchers to spend at national labs to aid in their commercialization.
