MERRICK, N.Y. - Aug. 17, 2020 - PRLog -- Today, I am happy to introduce the new logo of Lenders Compliance Group. The new logo is shown in this announcement!
Our new logo keeps our well-recognized magnifying glass. However, the image has been enhanced to include the broad suite of our compliance solutions. We accomplished this conceptually by building an array of hexagons within the magnifying glass itself. The hexagons have different colors to symbolize our compliance support groups!
Let me give you some history.
When I founded Lenders Compliance Group in 2006, there were no other compliance firms in the country quite like it. At that time, if a bank or nonbank wanted mortgage compliance guidance, it had to go to lawyers who charged $500 an hour. I felt there has to be a better way! By that point, I had already served as a Chief Compliance Officer for two publicly traded companies. When I left the corporate world, I decided to start my own practice devoted to residential mortgage compliance. My vision was to provide the best credentialed, subject matter experts to clients at a cost-effective, fixed monthly fee that included monthly conferences, policies and procedures, and unlimited interactions.
At first, it took time to break companies of their dependence on the old way of receiving compliance advice. But the old model lacked some fundamental components. For instance, although the old model's advisors did have a lot of costly legal experience, they still lacked practical, quotidian, work experience within financial institutions, and they did not have hands-on knowledge of how to guide a company amid urgent compliance challenges. Our new model was needed, and I knew it. Once our clients began working with our team, composed of the very best compliance people in the country - people who have practical, working, compliance knowledge, expertise, and experience - they began referring more and more clients to us. We didn't need advertising or marketing. Most of our clients came (and still come) from referrals.
Not just any compliance professionals can join Lenders Compliance Group. Our Executive Directors, Directors, Compliance Managers, and Compliance Analysts have extraordinary credentials in their respective fields of expertise. They must have extensive experience. The vetting process is such that many apply for a position, but few of them are invited to join us.
At this point in our growth, our clients can contact us and get a response to virtually any area involving residential mortgage compliance. There is no longer a need for a bank or nonbank to make a dozen calls to get a straight answer or desired compliance service. We literally provide them all!
Here's what I mean.
Lenders Compliance Group has an exceptional Executive Director who is capable of navigating the regulatory compliance of banks and nonbanks with respect to both mortgage lending and depository compliance. We continue to grow in response to the needs of the mortgage community.
We decided that there were sectors of the mortgage originations community whose compliance needs were being ignored, too. Brokers were almost totally dependent on lenders for compliance guidance. So, we established Brokers Compliance Group and attracted an Executive Director who was a former Deputy Commissioner of a state banking department. Many clients had unreliable, error-prone, and slowly processed mortgage quality control audits. So, we established LCG Quality Control and attracted an Executive Director who is Six Sigma and an expert in underwriting and operations. Servicers were frustrated by the inability to find a compliance firm with comprehensive experience. So, we established Servicers Compliance Group and attracted a highly credentialed Executive Director who is one of the country's most accomplished compliance professionals with inside, hands-on, day-to-day, servicing expertise. And, because many of our clients were dissatisfied with the way their vendors and service providers were crammed through mechanized approval procedures, we established Vendors Compliance Group and attracted an Executive Director who was a former top investment banker who has vast business experience, provides personalized service, and offers extensive knowledge of commercial enterprises. And, we have carved out compliance niches, such as in Human Resources, Cybersecurity, Licensing, Mortgage Call Reports, Fair Lending Reviews and HMDA/CRA Audits, each with its own Director to manage the audit and evaluation requirements.

The new logo is only one of several initiatives that Lenders Compliance Group plans to implement over the next few months. Because our compliance solutions continually expand, the new website will respond dynamically to the transactional needs of our clients.
