Parkdale Center's remote access Intensive Outpatient Program for addiction treatment
By: Parkdale Center
Parkdale's remote programming includes access to fully integrated and facilitated evaluations, therapeutic groups, individual therapy, aftercare, and peer-support treatment programs. As with in-center programs, their remote access programs are completely confidential and adhere to all federal privacy and Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) requirements.
Parkdale CEO Rodrigo Garcia stated, "Social distancing, stay at home orders, and fear of the unknown are contributing factors to the increase in stress, anxiety, and feelings of isolation that are often associated with relapse and continued struggles with substances. Through remote access programming, telehealth counseling, and online resources, Parkdale brings your support team directly to you in the comfort of your own home. Alone, the journey may be difficult, but together we can accomplish anything."
The Parkdale IOP is designed to ensure that an individual establishes and maintains new and healthy habits. All remote groups are facilitated by a licensed mental health and addiction clinician and can be accessed virtually. IOP consists of group sessions, self-reflection check-ins, and open sharing - allowing for the development of individual recovery goals in a supportive environment. Sessions work through materials from the IOP curriculum that regularly identify and reinforce daily, weekly, monthly, and long-term recovery goals, from a distance.
"Parkdale's virtual IOP program allows participants to continue with or return to everyday life while having recovery treatment and group therapy available. Recovery would not have been as possible for me to do without the virtual option that Parkdale offers," stated IOP participant, Alex T.
Providing complete anonymity, access convenience, and treatment reach expansion, remote IOP can be attended from any confidential location with reliable internet access, including while on vacation, visiting a family member, or directly from home. No matter where a struggling professional is, Parkdale Center is there with them through every step of recovery. Ready to take the next step?
