The Grand Prize: This concours-restored 1969 Hurst/Olds is the first of 906 limited-edition muscle cars converted by Demmer Engineering, in cooperation with Hurst Performance and Oldsmobile, back in early 1969. It is documented by extensive records from Demmer and the Hurst/Olds Club of America. It features a frame-off restoration, including a full engine rebuild, show-quality paint and graphics, a mint interior, polished chrome and a detailed engine bay and undercarriage. This historic muscle car, like all the 1969 Hurst/Olds 442s produced, sports a Cameo White exterior with Firefrost Gold stripes and is powered by a 380-horsepower Oldsmobile big-block engine backed by a Turbo 400 three-speed automatic transmission with a Hurst "His and Hers" dual-gate shifter.
This extremely rare muscle car is nicely equipped with power steering, power brakes, engine cooler upgrade, deluxe seat belts, air conditioning, 3.23-ratio limited-slip differential, Rocket Rally Pac, tinted glass, rear radio speaker, power windows, auxiliary front floor mats and more!
