AXEcitement as Stumpy's Hatchet House Reopens in Middletown Governor gives the OK to open

MIDDLETOWN, Del. - June 3, 2020 - PRLog -- Soon after celebrating their one year anniversary, owners Milton Delgado, Hector Correa, Exan Correa and Anne Correa sadly closed Stumpy's Hatchet House in Middletown, DE.
The 7,000 square foot former agricultural vehicle storage building was transformed into Delaware's first indoor hatchet throwing venue. "We were just getting our sea legs!" commented Milton, owner and retired Navy Petty Officer. "Our summer league was ready to kick off, our outdoor patio was approved and then wham bam, here comes Corona! Unfortunately we had to temporarily lay off all of our staff and close the doors in March, it was a sad day."

Delaware Governor John Carney, recently allowed limited opening of businesses in the state albeit with restrictions. Below are some of the steps that Stumpy's Hatchet House has taken to comply with current regulations.
• Limited space available (30% capacity)
• Private parties for up to 10 people
• Throwing pits are up to 15 ft. apart
• Stumpy's has been deep cleaned and sanitized
• Hand sanitizer and disinfectant wipes available.
• Face masks are required for entry.

Stumpy's will be reopen starting Friday, June 5th at 5PM. Reservations are required and can be done online or by calling our location.

As the first indoor hatchet throwing venue in the USA, Stumpy's Hatchet House offers an alternative form of recreation, if you're tired of the same old boring activities.  Hatchet-throwing is group activity, booked in advance.. A hatchet-throwing booking costs between $25 and $40 a person for 1 or 2 hours respectively. The sport of axe throwing is primitive and organic and is perfect for those who love adventure or are seeking a release.
