NourishNC and City Club of Wilmington team up to help meet increased demand amidst pandemic
Club initiation fee can now go towards providing healthy food to hungry children
"Since the onset of COVID-19, NourishNC has seen a drastic increase in the number of children we serve. NourishNC is committed to feeding food insecure children throughout COVID-19, the long summer months ahead, and beyond," said Steve McCrossan, Executive Director of NourishNC.
"$500 will feed one child every weekend and during all school breaks for one entire year. That's a big impact for our neighbors right here in New Hanover County," said Jonathan Weiss, Managing Partner of City Club of Wilmington.
City Club membership is loaded with benefits including access to a network of more than 50 private clubs around the world. All interested parties should contact Lucy Pekatos, City Club Membership Director, at 910-232-7890 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
