GTM's Response to COVID-19 Includes Education, Masks and Miles

NORTHBROOK, Ill. - May 15, 2020 - PRLog -- As the pandemic of COVID-19 persisted, GTM Original (GTM) found itself working with its connections in China, along with associated dealers and retailers in this country, to keep production of its premiere leather concealed carry bags and purses moving. With unprecedented numbers of first-time women gun buyers, GTM and its community continue to help educate these new owners about how to carry off-body safely. GTM also found ways to aid in the COVID fight by donating masks, sanitizer and miles.

GTM donated gallons of sanitizer and 25,000 masks, totaling $15,000, and distributed them across the country to nursing homes, healthcare professionals, first responders and essential retailers. GTM also provided 50,000 "United Miles on a Mission" to help fly people in need to critical care. When a local food pantry alerted the town for needed food donations, GTM provided immediate purchases.

"In unknown times, it is crucial for those of us that are able, in whatever way possible, to help our communities who cannot help themselves with this silent enemy. Our communities, villages, towns, made it possible for GTM to be here. We won't forget, nor turn our backs, on those that need urgent help now," said Claudia Chisholm, president of GTM.
