Topic: A Tribute to The Crown Jewel of Kannada Literature

BENGALURU, India - April 28, 2020 - PRLog -- Jain (Deemed-to-be University) School of Computer Science and IT hosted an event in the memory of the legendary and eminent Kannada scholar Dr. Chidananda Murthy on 29th February 2020 at the JGI Knowledge Campus, Jayanagar, Bangalore.

Dr. Chidananda Murthy, a writer, researcher, and historian was a well-known scholar in Karnataka specializing in the history of Kannada language and helped get the language "Classical Language" status in the year 2008. He was also known for his campaign to conserve the Hampi monuments. Hence an event was hosted to pay tribute and celebrate the works of a legendary personality who continues to inspire us all with his legacy.

The one-day conference provided a wonderful platform for scholars to present their paper in a wide range of topics related to Dr. Chidananda Murthy's literary works in the fields of folk, Inscription, language, and research.
