National Science Day 2020: Honoring the Women in Science

BENGALURU, India - April 14, 2020 - PRLog -- Jain (Deemed-to-be University) School of Sciences, Departments of Bio-Technology had organized an open day on the 25th of February 2020 to commemorate National Science Day, dedicated to the powerful women in science and honoring their enriching contributions to the field. The National Science Day 2020 will be celebrated with a theme titled "Women in Science".

UG students from colleges across the city were invited to visit the School of Sciences – Block 1 campus at Jayanagar in Bangalore between 09:30 AM to 04:00 PM. The event offered a glimpse into the exciting arena of science and research to the visitors with a brief tour of various labs at the institute and an opportunity to know more about the exciting projects and subjects by the faculty and the students. Brainstorming session with M.Phil. and Ph.D. scholars was also organized where students got a chance to interact with the great minds from the science world.
