Local Urgent Care Center providing COVID-19 upper respiratory health screening during shelter-at-home orders

DEERFIELD BEACH, Fla. - April 10, 2020 - PRLog -- Helix Urgent Care announced today it is screening emergent care patients with Upper Respiratory and COVID-19 symptoms.  Per CDC Guidelines, only limited COVID-19 test kits are available and only to the most in need. However, by combining proper screening diagnostics, chest x-rays, and COVID-19 tests, patients can receive care and avoid worsening physical conditions during the crisis.

As reported by the COVID Tracking Project, the number of confirmed COVID-19 cases statewide jumped to over 15,000, but only a 10.7% infection rate when measured against 143,000 COVID-19 tests taken. In Palm Beach County, Broward and Martin, 3922 people have been diagnosed since the emergency began.

Afraid to go out and then too sick. That has to change."
