Cooking with dragons, gambling & high-stakes chocolate making highlight seven-story anthology

SAN DIEGO - March 1, 2020 - PRLog -- Will a chef's cooking save his life? How will the new intern for the galaxy's sole chocolate magnate carry out his latest, most difficult task? Can a shut-in life insurance adjuster be a hero to a woman he's never met? These and other stories highlight a seven-story science fiction/speculative fiction micro-anthology to be published by Atomic Bazooka Studios March 3, 2020.

The anthology Seven from the System with stories by author Jason Tudor is available as an ebook or in print. Tudor based the stories in the fictional universe he created called The Nine Systems from his comic book series Vorpal, published by Crazy Monkey Ink and Spinwhiz Comics.

"Hard gambling? Poor life choices? Chocolate? Severed hands? You bet I'm excited to finally get this collection in front of readers! It's been a year or so in the making and it comes just as I release the third issue of my comic book," Tudor said. "These stories are about people and characters are quite vivid to me. So, I'm excited to see if the readers will feel the same."

Tudor said he means for the book to compliment the already released comic books available from Crazy Monkey Ink and Spinwhiz Comics. "The comics are much slower coming, so this helps fill a gap and tell more stories from this universe."

In reading an early release copy of Seven from the System, one reader said, "With Seven From the System, Tudor takes us deeper into the world of the Nine Systems. He puts flesh on the bones. Seven short, hard-punching stories open up new vistas, introduce us to new (and a few already known) characters who make up the tapestry he has weaved. Each story is a quick surgical strike that continues to build. It's fun. It's fresh. It's waiting for you."

As part of the release, Tudor will host a live discussion of the book and related comics on his YouTube channel from 3-5pm EST March 3. The cover of the book, which Tudor illustrated, will debut at 2 p.m., Feb. 26, 2020.

The book is 144 pages and will be available from Amazon.com in print and Kindle formats. Tudor – who illustrated the book's cover art -- will also have Print, PDF and Mobi copies available from his website, www.jasontudor.com. The Kindle/eBook version is $2.99 while the print version is $6.99.
