Winners Announced at the Third Worldwide Women's Film Festival

Topping the night off at the Awards Ceremony was the announcement of the winner of the "Best Cinematography Award presented by Panavision".

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. - Feb. 10, 2020 - PRLog -- The Film Festival concluded on Sunday after filling theaters at the Harkins Shea 14 this weekend where the community gathered to support women in film showcasing 86 films from across the world.

The Awards Party was held on Saturday night where the filmmakers gathered to hear their names as the winners were announced.

No Ordinary Love, with Director/Writer - Chyna Robinson, took home the most, winning three significant awards for Best Editing (Meagan Waggoner), Best Actor (Eric Hanson), and Best Ensemble Cast (Lynn Andrews De'Ana Davis April Hartman and Eric Hanson). Watch out for this film as it travels around the country and more festivals.

Panavision Executive, Mike Carter, visited the festival to give the "Best Cinematography Award presented by Panavision", a Platinum Camera Package valued at $60,000, to "Intervention", Cinematographer - Jennifer Hook, Director/Producer - Linda Palmer was in attendance to represent the film along with, Lead Actress from Intervention, Janel Tanna, who also took home the Best Actor award.

Highlights of the festival also included filmmakers coming from Ireland, Germany, Italy, Israel, South America and from all over the U.S. as well as one of the major sponsors, Dolphin Image Studios, from Winter Haven, Florida. A statistic they are excited to share is 86% of the films selected for screening were directed and/or written by women. The Worldwide Women's Film Festival is already planning for 2021.
