Legionella and Monitoring Building Water Discussed in New Online Video
The IAQ Video Network releases another educational production about an important environmental, health and safety (EHS) topic.
"Legionnaires' disease and Pontiac fever are both caused by exposure to Legionella bacteria," said Paul Cochrane, President of Cochrane and Associates and the IAQ Video Network. "According to CDC investigations, almost all outbreaks the agency has looked into were caused by problems preventable with more effective water management. We hope this new video helps to shed some light on the role water management programs can play in preventing Legionella exposure risks to protect the public."
This video was sponsored by a number of organizations and leading industry professionals that work to protect and enhance the public's health and safety. Sponsors include EMSL Analytical, LA Testing, Clark Seif Clark, Zimmetry Environmental and Healthy Indoors Magazine to name a few.
