Analysis: The UN Programme for Afghanistan Simply Counts Numbers

The United Nations work in Afghanistan simply deals with tracking number of dead bodies by ISIS and Taliban instead of practical humanitarian development work.

KABUL, Afghanistan - Dec. 21, 2019 - PRLog -- The United Nations was previously dealing with UN Millennium Goals, but in 2015 it started the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG's). Afghanistan is one the country that UN looks to for attracting donor funding for the in-country programmes. To date, the UN has simply been counting dead bodies in the war-torn country instead of making lives better.

Namely, the World Health Organization has refused to establish the poor country's health system – as the poor people continue to travel to India for health care.

Since the country doesn't have a good democratic system – it means the UN is freely to do whatever they want. For example, they would not fund farmers unless farmers are growing opium. Another example, the Human Rights Organization repeatedly failed to bring those responsible for war crimes such as ISIS and Taliban to court so that they can face justice.

When United States airstrikes takes place in Afghanistan (on numerous occasions) the UN simply condemns those actions.

Humanitarian staff in Afghanistan are facing dead threats as the day goes by including bombing on MSF and other key humanitarian staff organizations.

The Afghanistan former President Dr. Najibullah was killed at UN's guest house which means that wherever the UN operates the area is unsafe – Afghanistan is unsafe with the UN.
