Georgia's Lanier Islands Wraps the Holidays in Several Neat Packages and Ties Them Up with a Bow

Beyond miles of holiday lights, visit to a winter them park, story time and tuck-in service from an elf, and breakfast with the Big Man, other experiences available to guests of Legacy Lodge during the holiday season include Christmas cookie decorating, gingerbread house building, Christmas crafts, trim a tree ornament, story time with Santa and Mrs. Claus, holiday family movie night, holiday family games and face painting. Some of these experiences are available for a nominal fee and several require a reservation to take part.

Breakfast with Santa is only available December 7, 8, 14, 15, 21, 22, 23 and 24 – so guests will want to arrive early to avoid the rush.

Magical Nights of Lights – featuring mile after mile of twinkling holiday light displays that wind around to the winter theme park – is open now through January 5, 2020 from 5 to 10pm. Hours of operation are contingent upon the weather and subject to change. Visitors are not required to be overnight guests of Lanier Islands to enjoy Magical Nights of Lights, although a special resort gate fee will apply.
