The NLFA Hosts Player Combine/Showcase

BOSSIER CITY, La. - Nov. 15, 2019 - PRLog -- The North Louisiana Football Alliance (NLFA), the newly formed semi-professional spring football league hosted its first Combine/Showcase this past weekend in Bossier City, Louisiana to evaluate players and coaches to prepare for the leagues' upcoming inaugural season.

The combine was held on November 9th and 10th, and were open to players within the regional area. Players were evaluated on the 40-yard dash, broad jump, three-cone drill, shuttle, and other position-specific tests, as well as a 7v7 showcase was part of the two-day event.

Players interested in playing for an NLFA team can register for a partial fee of $100, but a full payment of $200 is required prior to the start of the season. In addition to the November dates, each team will hold tryouts this December to determine player positions and final starting rosters.

Current cities hosting an NLFA team are:

Bossier City, Louisiana – Longview, Texas – Kilgore, Texas – Magnolia, Arkansas – Arcadia, Louisiana – Minden, Louisiana – Plain Dealing/Springhill, Louisiana and Shreveport, Louisiana (recently moved from El Dorado, Arkansas)
