Farmer's Lung and Airborne Exposure Risks Discussed in New Online Video
The IAQ Video Network releases another educational production about an important environmental, health and safety (EHS) topic.
"There are times when farmers and agricultural workers can be exposed to a variety of dusts, chemicals, gases, mold, bacteria, and other respiratory allergens and irritants," said Paul Cochrane, President of Cochrane and Associates and the IAQ Video Network. "Farmer's Lung is an occupational disease caused by breathing biologic dusts from hay, stored grain, silage or other agricultural products. We hope this video sheds some light on this allergic disease to raise awareness and help protect the nation's agricultural workers."
This video was sponsored by a number of organizations and leading industry professionals that work to protect and enhance the public's health and safety. Sponsors include EMSL Analytical, LA Testing, Clark Seif Clark, Zimmetry Environmental and Healthy Indoors Magazine to name a few.
