CAV Systems Appoints Roy Timor-Rousso as CEO - New Focus on International Markets

CAESAREA, Israel - Oct. 31, 2019 - PRLog -- CAV Systems Ltd recently appointed Roy Timor-Rousso to the role of Chief Executive Officer with the primary mission of shifting the company's strategic direction to international markets.

Since the company's founding in 1979, the two co-founders, Eli Schor and Nahum Shafir, successfully focused on the domestic market in Israel delivering best-of-breed solutions in various sectors including mortgage loan processing, tour operators, retail optical store management and ERP systems particularly in the food processing industries. During the four decades of the company's growth, the IT landscape changed significantly, and the company responded to the business challenges flowing from those changes by adopting new technologies and adapting solutions to meet customers' changing needs.

Recognizing that the next stage in the company's development would require a very different skill set, Roy Timor-Rousso was identified as having the right mix of Israeli and international experience to design the strategy, develop the plan and execute the transition towards a dynamic outward-looking organization.

Roy comes to CAV Systems with more than two decades of experience working primarily for Israeli hi-tech companies in the telecoms sector filling a variety of marketing and management roles in which success depended on identifying and penetrating new markets within a business framework of time and resource constraints. Prior to joining CAV Systems, Roy served as Managing Director and VP Business Development at Mavenir Isael leading the company's R&D activity in Israel and business development of Mavenir's global business messaging strategy.
