CINCINNATI - Oct. 28, 2019 - PRLog -- Rundgren Radio (http://www.toddrundgrenradio.com) will be presenting a "It Was Fifty Years Ago Today: A Tribute To The Beatles' White Album" concert featuring Micky Dolenz (Monkees), Todd Rundgren, Christopher Cross, , Jason Scheff (Chicago) and Joey Molland (Badfinger) performing some of their greatest hits along with songs from The Beatles White Album.  The musical director for the tour is Joey Curatolo (the musical director of RAIN: A Tribute to The Beatles).

The concert is being held on Sunday, December 1, 2019 at the Aronoff Center (https://local12.com/cincinnati-refined/photos-aronoff-center-performing-arts-theater-downtown-cincinnati).  Tickets are on sale now at the venue's website. Micky Dolenz Jr. is an American actor, musician, television director, radio personality and theater director, best known as a vocalist and drummer of the 1960s pop/rock band The Monkees.  The band achieved their greatest success as recording artists selling in excess of 65 million units and achieving worldwide success.

The Beatles or "The White album" as it became better known was released on 22nd November, 1968 on the fifth anniversary of their second album, With The Beatles. A total of 34 new tracks were released in 1968 and 30 were contained on this one double-LP.
