dealcloser partners with Michigan State University College of Law

EAST LANSING, Mich. - Oct. 16, 2019 - PRLog -- dealcloser, a transaction management platform for legal professionals that modernizes the deal process and strengthens relationships between lawyers and clients, announced its new partnership with the Center for Law, Technology & Innovation at Michigan State University College of Law.

dealcloser provides a collaboration hub for lawyers, their clients, and other parties relevant to a transaction, strengthening the lawyer-client relationship during transactions (including M&A deals, incorporations, and tax-driven reorganizations). dealcloser will be used in classes taught at Michigan State University College of Law and as a software tool for facilitating student work in the Center for Law, Technology & Innovation.

"We're very excited to bring dealcloser to MSU. MSU Law students will transition into practice with experience using technology that corporate lawyers use daily to do their work," says Amir Reshef, CEO of dealcloser.

This partnership allows law students to gain exposure and familiarization with real tools used by lawyers in day to day practice. Students' familiarization with dealcloser prior to completing law school and transitioning into the workforce will benefit law firms by providing them with junior lawyers already experienced in using legal technology solutions.

According to Professor Carla Reyes, Assistant Professor of Law and Director of the Center for Law, Technology & Innovation: "MSU recognizes both the importance of innovation in the legal industry and the importance of preparing students for future practice. As such, MSU invests in partnerships with legal technology companies such as dealcloser in order to bring those innovations directly to our students."
