-- Peak Physical Therapy & Sports Performance, a South Shore practice specializing in unique programs that provide comprehensive treatment in orthopedic, spine and sports medicine specialties, is opening a new private health center for both men's and women's pelvic health in Scituate MA.
The private clinic is located at 10 New Driftway, #203 in Scituate MA in the same building as Peak's original Scituate clinic location. The Private Pelvic Health clinic will feature individual treatment rooms for men and women. There is also a larger area that will be used for group classes such as pre and post partum yoga, and fitness classes for post partum women with instruction on how to exercise safely.
Peak has a team of physical therapists who specialize in women's and men's pelvic health conditions, and will provide non-surgical and non-medicinal options for a number of conditions. The therapists evaluate each patient to identify the source of the problem and then develops an individualized treatment plan. The program offers evaluations and treatments for a variety of conditions including bladder and urinary dysfunction, bowel dysfunction, pelvic pain, pre and post-natal low back pain, prostate cancer rehab, Diastasis Recti, sexual dysfunction, and more.
"Our Pelvic Health clinic in Norwell has generated great interest in the community and serves a very real need. As we saw the need for these services growing we realized we would need to expand to accommodate additional patients," said Eric Edelman, PT and owner of Peak Physical Therapy and Sports Performance. "Anytime we can offer people real relief and better health without the use of medication or surgery it is a real win for our patients. We welcome everyone to contact us to learn more about the offerings at our clinics."About Peak Physical Therapy and Sports Performance
