Celebrating Resilient Partnerships: The Lind Excellence Awards (LEAs) 2019

BORACAY ISLAND, Philippines - Sept. 12, 2019 - PRLog -- In an evening of swag and élan, 20 of the travel industry's most seasoned tour operators and online travel agencies were feted at The Lind Excellence Awards (LEAs) 2019. The LEAs is The Lind Boracay's recognition program for the hotel's top contributing partners.

As the flagship property of The Lind Hotels under Scottland Leisure Inc., The Lind Boracay is a striking example of how hotels succeed through strategic and robust partnerships with the best travel and online agencies in the industry. In its relative youth, The Lind has secured its place among the top-ranked luxury hotels in Boracay, and this is no small feat.

Your award tonight exemplifies the depth and breadth of our partnership… our friendship," said Nico Estrella, Director of Sales and Marketing of The Lind Boracay as he welcomed the awardees.

The Lind Excellence Awards was held at Pinot, a new, handsomelydesigned fine dining restaurant in Bonifacio Global City providing an air of relaxed sophistication that permeated throughoutthe evening. To add a heightened touch of elegance, Gathered Creative Co. styled Pinot to resemble that of an Art Deco jazz lounge. Awardees enjoyed an excellently-curated, not to mention, delicious 5-course dinner by Chef Markus Gfeller.

Leading the crisp and fun program was the stunning Angel Aquino, who gamely engaged guests and lightened the formal occasion with gracious flair and aplomb. The talented Seranata's New Perspective band provided the incredible live music, delighting the intimate gathering with a repertoire of classic and contemporary favorites.

Seventeen travel and online agencies received the TheLEAs while 3 others received the top tiered category, The Teal Awards. The trophies were made of wrought iron shaped to resemble the "L" logo of The Lind and mounted on a clear glass pedestal. This unique trophy symbolizes the brand of hospitality The Lind aims to provide: Seamless, gracious under pressure, and modern.

Ending the evening with a surprise, Daryl Tan, the Managing Director of The Lind Boracay, said that the encouraging collaboration of The Lind Boracay with the best in the travel industry gives them impetus in forging on with two more hotels for The Lind.

"Your presence here gives us a lot of inspiration and encouragement that you will be there for us as we do our part in making our country truly one of the best and competitive destinations in the region.
