Research Discovers That Home Owning Leads To Greater Happiness

DONCASTER, U.K. - Sept. 11, 2019 - PRLog -- Home owning is a predominantly British tradition and for centuries it has been a symbol of success and status for a British citizen.  However, owning your own home could be worth more now than ever before, and not just in financial terms.

Zoopla has recently discovered that owning your own property could be the key to a greater sense of happiness and wellbeing, as owning a home leads to higher levels of satisfaction than if you were renting one.

The research showed that money plays a large role in happiness levels but not quite how you may presume.  Statistics show that having a high income didn't correlate strongly to being happy but, having a high level of household spending did.

Love, unsurprisingly, also plays a large role in the happiness of an individual and their home. Zoopla discovered that those in a marriage, or a civil partnership, are most likely to have the highest levels of happiness. Marital status and current relationships are also shown to have a larger effect on wellbeing than economic status does.
