WESTLAKE VILLAGE, Calif. - Sept. 8, 2019 - PRLog -- Last month Inc. magazine announced that Cadence Communications & Research (Cadence) is No. 3160 on its annual Inc. 5000 list, the most prestigious ranking of the nation's fastest-growing private companies. The list represents a unique look at the most successful companies within the American economy's most dynamic segment—its independent small businesses. Microsoft, Dell, Pandora, Timberland, LinkedIn, Yelp, Zillow, and many other well-known names gained their first national exposure as honorees on the Inc. 5000.

"This honor is particularly gratifying since we are a woman-owned company. We feel that our work helps our clients in the healthcare sector make better decisions and our growth demonstrates that our clients value it. Our goal is to partner with them to fundamentally improve patient outcomes," says Managing Principal and Co-Founder, Laura Smith.

The inclusion in this year's list marks the third time that the company has received this honor ranking 181 in 2012 and 542 in 2013.  According to Inc. editor-in-chief James Ledbetter, "This is [Cadence's] third time on the Inc. 5000, which is a truly extraordinary accomplishment. Needless to say, making the list gets harder every year as your starting base grows. Of the tens of thousands of companies that have applied to the Inc. 5000 over the years, only a fraction have made the list more than once. A mere one in eight companies have made the list three times."

Going forward, the company is focused on leveraging its strong medical communications and market research platform to support patients in new ways.  "Our passion for assisting patients is driving investment in two new initiatives. The first is aimed at improving the journey of cancer patients with a more integrated set of knowledge and tools. The second initiative is providing timely, accessible market research insights to assist manufacturers in the cannabis market to reach the appropriate patient populations," said Smith.
