Local Business Champions For Literacy Across York County With A Free, Kid-Friendly Event Saturda

ROCK HILL, S.C. - Sept. 5, 2019 - PRLog -- Beyond Fit Kids, Early Learning Partnership of York County, York County Library have partnered with The Mercantile to co-host International Literacy Day 2019 to promote literacy throughout York County. This free, kid-friendly event is scheduled for Saturday, September 7, 2019 from 9:00 AM until 12:00 PM.

During the International Literacy Day 2019 event at The Mercantile, Beyond Fit Kids will have the Tumblebus setup for children to enjoy. Special readers from Springs Creative bring four unique stories to life for children and their parents during four storytelling times. Storytelling times are scheduled at 9:30AM, 10:00AM, 10:30AM, and 11:00AM. Attendees can attend any or all four storytellings.

As a member of the Early Learning Partnership of York County board, The Mercantile co-owner, Brittany Kelly, are thrilled to partner with Beyond Fit Kids, Early Learning Partnership of York County, Springs Creative and the York County Library to host this event.

The community can participate in this event by shopping at The Mercantile on Saturday, September 7th, 2019. The Mercantile donates ten percent of all sales made on the day of the event to the Early Learning Partnership of York County.
