Young Professionals Organization (YPOWR) Presents 5th Annual Mini-Golf Tournament

WATERBURY, Conn. - Aug. 20, 2019 - PRLog -- YPOWR-The Young Professionals of Waterbury Region, an organization that strives to engage and energize young professionals in the greater Waterbury region, will host its fifth annual Mini Golf Tournament on Tuesday, September 10th to present a unique and exciting networking opportunity for participants.

Event attendees will be able to enjoy a competitive round of mini-golf while networking on the beautiful 18-hole course at Hidden Valley Miniature Golf in Southington on September 10 from 4:45 to 8:00 PM. Following the tournament, a wrap-up networking reception will be held at the nearby DoubleTree by Hilton in Bristol with food stations, signature drinks, and prizes.

YPOWR Director Cassie Michaels commented, "This program has grown into one of YPOWR's most popular events, selling out the available foursomes each year. This annual outing provides a fun networking opportunity that offers something different than the typical after-work meetup. We find that our attendees connect much more when they're participating in an engaging activity."

Employers of young professionals are encouraged to consider a member of their staff or a foursome that they might like to send to represent their company at this popular event. Investing in the growth, leadership skills, and community involvement of staff members increases the individual's and company's impact and recognition locally.

In addition to attending the tournament or sending employees, companies can also support the event and connect with participants through sponsorship opportunities. There are several tee/green sponsorships still available for promotion on the course and at the evening reception.

The Mini Golf Palooza still has spots available for the tournament, and the $50 registration fee covers both play at the course and the reception.

Individuals who would like to attend the reception only to enjoy networking and refreshments, the registration fee is $35.
