Rolling Through Life With Mommy
- Aug. 19, 2019
-- Her name is TaLisha Grzyb and in 2019 her mission is to inspire and to demystify the thought on not being able to thrive in life while living with a disability. TaLisha is a Disability Lifestyle Influencer who shortly after birth was diagnosed with Congenital Muscular Dystrophy (CMD)and has now released her debut book titled "Rolling Through Life With Mommy
". This 28 page, easy read for children is a heart-warming book of love, family, and overcoming disability. There are millions of parents but not all of them have a story like TaLisha. The story is told by her three sons (all under the age of 3) who take the readers on an adventure of a day in the life of a wheelchair-bound mother. It shows a new perspective of a struggle many endure but now in the eyes of their children. One of the highlights of the book is to showcase that the adventure is not about where you go, but who you go with.
When asked about the release of her first book, TaLisha states "I realized that having a disability was not something to mourn, but rather a gift from God that needed to be appreciated because it was only given to special individuals with a special purpose in life. I knew that I had Muscular Dystrophy because I had something to learn or something to teach. From that point forth, I made it my purpose in life to inspire others. I told myself that I may have Muscular Dystrophy, but Muscular Dystrophy doesn't have me. My strong spirit has made up for my weak muscles.
In addition to releasing her debut book, TaLisha is a successful Vlogger and the Creator of "Rolling Through Life With TaLisha
