-- Independent UK tour operator Fleewinter has broadened its offering to the Maldives, which now totals a choice of over 30 resorts, and nine recommended itineraries from eight to 14 days in duration (though all holidays can be tailor made).
In addition to two stand-alone Maldives island tours, there are four combining Sri Lanka and the Maldives, and three combined with India. There is also the option for people to build their own tour using the various elements offered in the programme.
Diving and snorkelling are great ways to explore the breath-taking coral, with overwhelming numbers of fish plus manta rays, turtles and whale sharks, and you can even do this while staying dry by taking advantage of one of the resorts that have submarines and outstanding underwater restaurants, offering an unmissable dining experience.
Comments Carly Watling, Fleewinter's destination expert who looks after the Maldives programme: "We have selected resorts that we feel really live up to people's expectations of a trip to the Maldives; stunning surrounds, excellent service, superb facilities and utter tranquillity;
the word paradise is over-used in the travel industry, so we will let you decide whether you think it is appropriate for the Maldives, once you have visited!"
