Digital Health Accelerator to Host Scouting Event in Berlin

BERLIN - July 11, 2019 - PRLog -- A new startup accelerator based in the United States will be making a stop in Berlin on July 17th to meet with mature startups seeking to accelerate growth and connect with experts, corporate partners, and investors in the US.

"Berlin has a hotbed of startup talent in the MedTech space right now, which is why we're excited to come and meet them," said Gyan Kapur, Managing Director of the program.

Kapur added, "We provide entrepreneurs with knowledge and guidance from exceptional mentors with expertise as scientists, founders, investors, and operators. At the same time, we surround the startups with prospective partners and customers, such as hospital systems, payers, venture capitalists, and other healthcare innovators."

The program is a partnership with Startupbootcamp, which has helped nearly 800 startups secure over €501M in funding.

This year, Digital Health CT will run from November through January, culminating in a Demo Day. The accelerator takes no equity and is focused on helping startups increase traction. Startups who join the program are required to have at least one core team member in Hartford, Connecticut during the program.

Local startups will be invited to meet in a one-on-one setting to discuss their company and details about the program. Those who cannot meet on July 17th are still encouraged to apply through August 31, 2019 using the same link. Final selection of startups will occur by September 30, 2019.
