BRUSSELS - June 25, 2019 - PRLog -- This is the second collection of poetry published by Dan Surface. He is a certified 4 Gateways personal coach and as someone challenged by depression an outspoken advocate to eliminate the stigma of mental illness. He lives in Nashville, Tennessee.

Keepers of the Keys

To the gatekeepers
Who entice me to step
Through into
My true nature.
Single dew drop quivering
On a purple Iris petal.
Male cardinals ferocious
In blood red combat.
Rivulets below cottonwoods
Becoming a creek becoming a river.
Firefly boys back in town
Flashing for my backyard ladies.
Pacific sunset distilling
Blue, purple, red horizon.
Deepest green leaves
Through fog of early spring.
These, the poets, sages,
Shamans and wizards,
These and more offer
Astounding worlds, astounding kingdoms.
