Family Law Firm Pollock Begg Welcomes Pittsburgh Divorce Attorney Meghan L. Zupancic

PITTSBURGH - June 24, 2019 - PRLog -- Pittsburgh divorce attorney Meghan L. Zupancic joins Pollock Begg Komar Glasser & Vertz LLC as an associate attorney.

Zupancic represents clients in a variety of family law matters, including collaborative divorce, custody, complex support litigation, equitable distribution, adoption and guardianship proceedings.

Equipped with specialized training in the collaborative law process, Zupancic is a member of the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals and the Collaborative Law Association of Southwestern Pennsylvania, where she serves as membership chair.

Zupancic earned her juris doctor at Duquesne University School of Law where she received the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Contracts, interned in Duquesne's Family Law Clinic, and served as a Certified Legal Intern for KidsVoice, an organization providing legal support for abused, neglected and at-risk children.

She is admitted to practice law in Pennsylvania and is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association and the Matrimonial Inns of Court. She is active in the Allegheny County Bar Association, co-chairing the Family Law Section Programming Committee and belonging to the Young Lawyers Division and Women in the Law Division.

In 2019, she was selected to be part of the ACBA's Bar Leadership Initiative program, which aims to foster professional and community leadership skills within young lawyers. No more than 15 young attorneys are admitted into this prestigious course each year.

Zupancic began her family law career as an associate attorney at Wexford-based McMorrow Law LLC, where she was named to Pennsylvania Super Lawyers list of Rising Stars from 2016-2019 and received the Avvo Client's Choice Award in 2016.
