9/11 Survivor to Speak at Carobell's 50th Anniversary

JACKSONVILLE, N.C. - June 22, 2019 - PRLog -- Retired FDNY Lieutenant and survivor of the World Trade Center collapse, Mr. Joe Torrillo will be addressing the patrons of the Carobell 50th anniversary celebration on Saturday, June 22, in the Marston Pavilion – Camp Lejeune at 5:00 pm CST.

Carobell is located in Hubert North Carolina and has been providing services to the local community for 50 years.  They opened their doors to the local community in 1969.  They are a service provider that is dedicated to providing self-directed supports for individuals with intellectual developmental disabilities, to empower them to reach their fullest potential. They do this by continuing to develop professional services and quality support opportunities that focus on the empowerment, independence and personal dignity of its clients.

Mr Torrillo will be sharing his inspirational story of Devastation to Inspiration.  Joe will be sharing in detail the events of that fateful day of September 11,2001.  He will be sharing his struggles through physical rehabilitation and coming to grips with survivor's guilt.  He realizes now that God spared him for a later mission in life.  He now travels the world sharing his experiences in what he calls his mission to re-patriotise America.
