BURBANK, Calif. - June 25, 2019 - PRLog -- Cinedapt, Inc. announced today the next contestant for its "Whiteboard Challenge" show, Brittany Reves, the first female software engineer to appear on an engineering tech show.

The pilot episode for the "Whiteboard Challenge" will premiere on September 21, 2019 in Los Angeles at the Cinemark threatre beginning at 1pm followed by the tech event after party across the street at Industrious beginning at 2:30pm.

At the "Whiteboard Challenge" tech event, Meg Zany's "Courage Has No Gender" STEM Edition will be featured showcasing prominent women in tech history.

During pre-production, a major focus of the show's creator, Michael Kureth, was to cast at least one female software engineer as a contestant and more than one with hiring management experience as a judge.

When seeking women in tech involvement, Michael Garcia, a software engineer and co-producer on the show, joined him in attending multiple tech events for almost a year to recruit interest. Additionally the two reached out directly to more than 250 and posted advertisements reaching over 50 thousand female software engineers.

The intent of having the art of Meg Zany's "Courage Has No Gender" STEM Edition featured at the tech event is to remind people of the great historic accomplishments from women in tech and to encourage more to get involved in the future.

Her collection includes influential women in tech including Hedy Lamarr (invented spread spectrum and frequency hopping technology which is currently used in Wifi and Bluetooth); Gladys West (developed satellite geodesy models that were eventually incorporated into the Global Positioning System); Rosalind Franklin (known for the discovery of the DNA double helix); and Ada Lovelace (published the first computer algorithm).

The "Whiteboard Challenge" is the only tech show with its entire cast having a software engineering background; whereas, comparable shows are just actors.  Brittany is the first woman in tech to appear on the show.

In following the tradition of all interviews, personal preference will influence the outcome of the show.  Therefore, if you would like to see her win at the premiere, you can Vote for Brittany beginning July 9.
