Estate & Asset Protection Law Firm Founder Victoria Collier Talks About the Value of Dying Well
By: The Estate & Asset Protection Law Firm
DECATUR, GA, June 13, 2019: Victoria L. Collier, founder of The Estate & Asset Protection Law Firm, has posted a new blog on her law firm's website entitled "Some Say That Living Well Is The Best Revenge." Ms. Collier doesn't disagree with that title, however she would like to see more people as concerned with as she calls it their "exit strategies."
Collier writes, "Revenge aside, when all is said and done, it's truly great to both live well and to die well." She adds, "But, dying well is not exactly a popular topic of conversation."
"We all know the signs and symbols of those who supposedly 'live well'," says Collier. She elaborates, "The homes, the cars, the wardrobe, the club memberships, the toys, the worldly travel, etc. Sure the list of accomplishments and possessions may vary, but there is always a list."
According to Collier, "This all begs the question, how does one die well? As we evolve and mature as a species, I am of the opinion that this is one of the most important questions individuals and families can think about." Collier goes on to state, "You know, we put so much thought and energy into planning for the birth of our children, our marriages, buying our homes and our automobiles, but we avoid talking about our deaths." According to Collier, "That's like not having an exit strategy. And anyone in business knows how important an exit strategy is."
