Kickstarter Campaign - https://www.kickstarter.com/ Why I Designed the Anchor Strap Over the years, I spent quite a bit of time and money trying to find a camera carry solution that enabled me to focus on my craft in every context. I tried a number of options from harnesses, to innovative quick release systems, but I always found myself frustrated because no solution seemed to fit my variety of shooting needs. Either it was too bulky, or the materials it was made from felt cheap or were just ugly. What I wanted was a simple camera strap that I could rely on to carry my gear, it needed to feel comfortable all day, and easily be swapped between camera bodies. So I designed the Anchor Strap. The Anchor Strap is comfortable, looks great, and adapts to your shooting needs. --- Features • Comfort is Key - Naturally broken-in feel from day • Choosing the right leather was a key part in the process of designing these camera straps. I source the leather from Horween Leather co. a tannery based in Chicago, IL. We use their famous Chromexcel which is tanned to feel soft and comfortable, and retain incredibly strong. • Anchor System - Secure & Adaptable • The 'anchors' are what makes it possible to swap your Anchor Strap between camera bodies with ease. Each strap comes with two sets, with the option to buy more. • Security is important when you're carrying expensive gear which is why the cord we use on the anchors is 300lb tensile strength kevlar. All hardware is nickel plated solid brass hardware. • The anchor system makes it possible to connect your strap to nearly any camera body with the simple tried and true cow hitch. About Clever Supply Co. Clever Supply Co. was born from the idea that the things you use daily should be made to last and grow better with age, these are the items you'll want to keep. I started making camera straps in 2017, with the first version of the Anchor Strap coming nearly a year later in February of 2018. As a former wedding photographer, with a passion for the entire photography industry, I've grown a desire to enable photographers to do more with their work. I hope the people that use my products will feel that. At this point I've had the chance to get the Anchor strap in many photographers hands, and the feedback has been amazing. Why a Kickstarter? One of the biggest challenges I face as a small business is scaling my operation. With the help of a successful campaign on Kickstarter, I'll be able to buy more materials at larger discounts, upgrade my tools and machinery, and explore a number of ways to scale my operation.
