Two Nationally Renowned Michigan Board Certified Veterinarian Behaviorists Speak at Detroit's 2019 Science of Animal Behavior Conference
DETROIT - June 4, 2019 - PRLog -- Hosted by K9 Turbo Training and the Detroit Dog Rescue, this weekend's Science of Animal Behavior Conference (SABC) brings together 12 of the best Animal Behavior professionals for a two-day conference in Detroit focused on using evidence-based behavior science to better understand, treat and work with the animals in our community.

Metro-Detroit's own Dr. Theresa L. DePorter, BSc, DVM, MRCVS, DECAWBM, DACVB and Lansing's Dr. Marie Hopfensperger, DVM, DACVB, Michigan's two Board-Certified Veterinarian Behaviorists, lead the roster of expert speakers. This conference incorporates several firsts in Michigan veterinary education:

• two nationally-recognized veterinary behaviorists speak together in the        same forum

• separate educational tracks for canine and feline behavior and training

• separate educational tracks for veterinary professionals, trainers, rescue & shelter workers and the general public
