SQA Announces 48 QA Professionals Have Earned the Prestigious RQAP Credential

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. - May 21, 2019 - PRLog -- Forty-eight quality assurance professionals were recently granted their Registered Quality Assurance Professional (RQAP) credential from the Council on Professional Registration of the Society of Quality Assurance (SQA). Of those who were granted the credential, 17 received the RQAP-GCP designation for passing the Good Clinical Practices examination, and 31 received the RQAP-GLP designation for passing the Good Laboratory Practices examination. They will join 274 other RQAP-GCP and 612 other RQAP-GLP credentialed quality assurance professionals around the globe.

This most recent group of RQAP candidates successfully completed the GCP or GLP examination during the 25 March to 27 April 2019 examination window at Pearson VUE computer-based testing centers worldwide. A full listing of the newly credentialed professionals is at the end of the release.

"To all of the new Registrants, well done! And to those who are now dual Registrants [holding both the RQAP-GCP and RQAP-GLP credentials], welcome to an elite group of professionals!" said Michelle Holbrook Thompson RQAP-GCP, Chair of the SQA Council on Professional Registration and Vice President at FDA Quality and Regulatory Consultants. "One cannot obtain this credential from studying alone; real-world, practical knowledge is needed to be successful."

The RQAP program was established to set a high quality standard in the QA industry, provide personal professional growth and achievement, and demonstrate an individual's knowledge of regulations/guidances and how they are applied. The RQAP credential is a recognized standard of experience and knowledge throughout the QA industry, in the US and around the world.

The next RQAP examination window will be held 30 September to 2 November 2019. The application deadlines for that window are 19 August 2019 (early) and 3 September 2019 (late, with an extra fee). For more information about the RQAP program, visit www.sqa.org/rqap, and for a complete list of all current RQAP Registrants, visit www.sqa.org/rqap-list.
