NEW YORK - May 8, 2019 - PRLog -- Imbesi Law P.C. recently filed a lawsuit alleging racial profiling at Bloomingdales in New York, New York.

The complaint, Shardei Louis v. Bloomingdales, Inc., Index Number 154007/2019, alleges that Ms. Louis, a frequent shopper of Bloomingdales, was unlawfully stopped, detained and questioned base on her race.

Ms. Louis alleges that in March of 2019, she was accused of theft while trying to use the women's restroom. She also alleges that 1) several security guards detained her; 2) yelled at her; 3) prevented her from using the restroom; 4) prevented her from using her inhaler; 5) and strip searched her in front of other employees.

Ms. Louis is seeking compensatory damages for the trauma she sustained.
