| Paul Davis offices in Allen and Arlington contribute to home restoration for local veteranKristina Binegar, office owner of Paul Davis of Allen, and Aaron Borden, office owner of Paul Davis of Arlington recently contributed their expertise, labor, time and materials to help a retired Arlington, Texas resident and military veteran.
By: Paul Davis Restoration The Bottenfield project included water mitigation, home repairs, restoration and reconstruction, plus plumbing, bathroom and additional improvements to benefit the local man in need. Bottenfield's limited resources did not cover many uninsured areas of his home from damage. Binegar and Borden donated a large portion of the water damage mitigation, demolition, cleanup, odor control and sanitization, among others. As the project advanced, they determined necessary work required a rebuilding of the master bathroom with a walk-in shower instead of a standard bathtub and shower which Bottenfield could no longer traverse. Bottenfield now has running water for bathing and no longer needs to dangerously maneuver his water use in the house. Painting, carpet, cabinetry, front door repairs and a new deadbolt lock were items that were partially and wholly donated by Paul Davis. Local plumbers with RMC Plumbing donated a significant amount of labor and supplies to the job due to their respect for the senior man's service to our country. More work is needed on the home's foundation, exterior and landscaping, to name a few. The Paul Davis team is asking the community for continuing help for Bottenfield. "The Paul Davis offices are participating in the project because we truly believe we can make a difference in the quality of Tom's life. We'll be assisting the war veteran and his family with improvements to the home which will provide a safe and accessible environment," Binegar and Borden follow the Paul Davis mission with a passion for quality that drives everything they do and to provide extraordinary care while serving people in their time of need. Binegar, Borden and their team members are certified by the Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC) in emergency restoration, repairs, and reconstruction. They are also certified in Lead Safety for Renovation, Repair and Painting from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and as Council-Certified Residential Microbial Remediators.
