Is Miami the new investment hub in the West Coast? Catch the exciting details on this Florida event
David Drake, Chairman of LDJ Capital and The Soho Loft, speaks at this year's Miami Startup and Investor Cocktails organized by FundingPost
By: LDJ Capital
LDJ Capital Chairman David Drake is one of the speakers for this exciting event. More recently, David Drake is also seen as a leader in blockchain and cryptocurrency. He saw the value of digital assets when it was still unpopular. It all started in 2011 when Drake collaborated on the JOBS Act to create new laws underlying all fundraising in the U.S. for all ICOs. He runs a $200M LDJ Cayman Fund focused on cryptocurrency, mining, and ICO acquisitions. LDJ Capital Credit also offers middle market bridge financing to seed upcoming ICOs. Previously, he held a majority stake as a Managing Partner with Robert Hambrecht in an Alternative Energy Fund NewCommons Capital 2009-2010.
David Drake says, "Miami is now a growing space for investments and a place where local and foreign investors and companies look to expand their networks. I am looking forward to this event and to see what to expect in the upcoming months of 2019."
The event will feature an exhibition and a fast-pitch session with the panel of investors where the panel will choose the winner and the winner gets to meet with the panel of investors. There will also be an open bar and an after party where all the guests can get to interact with the investors and unwind. The event will also talk about the expectations of the entrepreneurs and investors for the rest of 2019, the companies that will get funds, the rising and falling industries, valuations, and the best and worst things that entrepreneurs and startups can do when reaching out to potential investors in the future.
Along with David Drake, some of the speakers in this event include:
