Follow on Google News | Annual Sports Day Held At Hope School MuzaffargarhBy: Health Oriented Preventive Education The much awaited Annual Sports Day was held at HOPE School Muzaffargarh recently, with great zeal, excitement and frolicsome atmosphere. The program began with the students welcoming the esteemed gathering especially the chief guest, Dr. Mubina Agboatwalla- Sports and games are very important for the development of physical strength as well as mental alertness in the children. Those who play games frequently maintain good health. HOPE organized Sports Day for the students of HOPE School Muzaffargarh to encourage sports among the students. The students entered into the spirit of the occasion in a grand way. The games played on the Sports Day included sprints, spoon race, pair race, frog race, tug of war etc. Fun time with a tug- of- war between the teams added to the enjoyment. Students who participated in the games showed great enthusiasm. Whether they won or lost the game, their enthusiasm was exemplary. Once the races began, the air was filled with cheering and tons of encouragement for the young athletes. Even the spectators that included school children and parents were equally excited. They were applauding every participant to boost their morale. At the end of Sports Day, HOPE's chairperson Dr. Mubina Agboatwalla awarded trophies to the winners and runner ups. She also encouraged other participants who couldn't make it to top three positions. HOPE team served snacks and juices to the students to keep them active during the event. They also brought different gifts for the students. The gifts included school bags and stationary boxes which were distributed among the students of HOPE School Muzaffargarh. The gifts were a source of happiness for the students. High quality sweaters and pretty clothes were also distributed among the students and some adults of the less fortunate local community which they can use as per their weather conditions.
