Compact, Absolute Multi-Turn Analog Rotary Shaft Encoder

AMCI announces the release of their compact, resolver-based absolute multi-turn analog rotary encoder. The smaller, 60mm package is very convenient compared to the 4.25" package customers have purchased in the past. Additionally, it comes standard with IP67 protection rating, and optional full stainless steel.

DC60 Features:
·         Multi-turn feedback (1-1024 turns)
·         Current or voltage analog output
·         60mm housing
·         Four conductor wiring
·         No specialty input module required
·         Resolver-based durability
·         IP67 Ingress Protection Rating
·         Stainless steel units available

The Package
AMCI's DC60 Absolute multi-turn rotary shaft encoders are offered in a 60mm diameter package, and are available with either 2.65" flange or 58mm servo mounting styles. The units come with an industry standard M12 connector and are available with either an end or side connect option.

The DC60 analog encoder is resolver based and supplies absolute position feedback without glass discs or sensitive LED components, enabling it to withstand high levels of shock and vibration. The IP67 rated package is an excellent solution for multi-turn position applications requiring protection from dust and water ingress.  Stainless steel units are also available to satisfy a variety of environmental conditions.
