So, You Think the Genesis Gap Bible Teaching is Heresy _ Part Three

The third and final part of an extensive teaching on the Biblical Genesis Gap

NORMAN, Okla. - April 4, 2019 - PRLog -- Heresy, heresy, heresy! This term is being used like it has become a household word. This term is a very serious one and if you happen to say a teaching or teacher is in heresy, and they are not, you are going against God's anointed men and women. "Do not touch my anointed ones; do my prophets no harm." - (Psalm 105:15 NIV). This scripture can be looked at to separate God's anointed ones and his prophets. As I told a man recently, I am a teacher called by God, to be in that office, but all Christians are also called by God to be teachers of The Gospel. Teachers with a special calling to teach are generally a bit more in-depth with their presented studies. When God performs several miracles in your life, witnessed by other people or at least by the teacher's wife, he is confirming that call he has placed on your life. Does this make the called-man a great and mighty Christian? No, God at times will even call the lowly type people and in his sovereignty, cause those who think they are great, to be revealed as the spiritually destitute ones. "But God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong. 28 God chose the lowly things of this world and the despised things—and the things that are not—to nullify the things that are" – (1 Corinthians 1:27-28 NIV). With this being said, the Genesis Gap teaching itself can be essential to some people. Example: Kids having gone to 12 years of public school, having evolutionary theories pushed at them and then in church being told to ignore the Mount Everest of evidence for an extremely aged earth and universe and just have faith. Having faith is a true statement but is God pleased with "blind faith"? No, God wants us to see why things are the way they are. It's tantamount to the scriptures saying ""So then faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the word of God" (Romans 10:17). Daniel 12:4 says: "But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased." While God was talking to Daniel about the end-time prophecy he was revealing to him, the statement saying about men running to and fro and knowledge being increased is clearly referring to increased knowledge on all things about God and the events of Adam's domain, plus God's plan/purpose for all things remains true as well. Could it be that God placed things in His Word that he knew men would find at the appropriate times? Who could have seen or understood things we now know in these modern times, 1,000s of years ago? Also, in regard to the heresy subject, how could a doctrine be called a heresy when it answers clearly the unanswered and is supported by scripture as well and even more-so than many Biblical doctrines already accepted by the fundamental, evangelical, Protestant churches as a whole? Heresy you say? Well, did you know that some non-Pentecostal churches believe Pentecostal churches are in heresy for believing the supernatural Gifts of the Holy Spirit are still in operation today? There are many things that churches disagree with each other on but only true departures from the scriptures, such as ones essential to a person receiving salvation, should be called heresies. While the Genesis Gap teaching is very difficult to teach without a small degree of speculation (such as when exactly Satan fell originally in approx. years – 100s of thousands, millions?). However, the core principles are very definitely revealed in the Holy Bible. The teaching absolutely does not meet the definition of a heresy.
