Wohler offers updated functionality for iAM Series monitors

SAN FRANCISCO - April 1, 2019 - PRLog -- Wohler Technologies, a leading manufacturer of video, audio and data monitoring solutions, will be demonstrating the latest improvements for its industry-leading iAM Series monitors at NAB 2019 (Booth N3220).

Ideal for complex monitoring environments, Wohler's current and state of the art iAM series signal monitoring products include the iAM-MIX, iAM-AUDIO and iAM-VIDEO, providing a number of multichannel audio and video monitoring and metering options to meet a wide range of customer requirements. New for 2019 are Dolby processing, including Wohler's heralded Dolby Zoom functionality, and loudness measurement for both the iAM-AUDIO and iAM-VIDEO and custom output routing for the iAM-MIX.

iAM-MIX features an ultra-intuitive front-panel control surface for multi-channel mixing and monitoring, which is especially ideal for non-technical operators that require auditory monitoring from a range of sources. With eight- or 16-channel control out-of-the-box, iAM-MIX also integrates with popular A/V routers to push and pull channel-name data, and provide other API controls. Wohler has added a custom output routing option that, when licensed, allows a user to flexibly combine and route input signals to various destination outputs. Options for different treatment are the speakers, the headphone, and all available output options. Additional options allow volume control or volume pass-through. This new software feature allows complete control over the audio signal for complex environments.

The iAM-AUDIO incorporates a sensitive touch-panel interface to allow intuitive command and control of the unit, combined with rich data displays and Wohler's world-renowned audio monitoring. The iAM-AUDIO introduces I/O options, including Dante and Ravenna™ as well as audio essences for ST2110 and ST2022-6. iAM-VIDEO adds video monitoring to the Series. iAM-VIDEO (https://www.wohler.com/product/audio-monitoring/iam-video-2/) is equipped to monitor SMPTE 2110, SMPTE 2022-6, MPEG2/4 TSoIP, MPEG2/4 TSoASI, and more. Both units can incorporate Dolby processing and loudness measurement.
